IECC Compliant Door Models

Energy savings and energy efficiency have become focal points in commercial buildings. The prospect of accumulating LEEDS points has also become a major factor in building design within the architectural community. Because of these factors, IECC compliance is becoming more important in commercial building specifications and will continue to grow in the near future.

Raynor wants to ensure that you will be able to be a part of this push by offering several door models that are in compliance with the latest IECC (International Energy Conservation Code) specifications for U-factor and air infiltration regulations. Raynor has had several door models tested and certified by independent laboratories that will meet these specifications and are available on WebConnect. (Please note that U-factor and air infiltration apply to sectional doors, however, on rolling insulated (IF) doors, only air infiltration rates are applicable under current IECC Standards.)

Below is a listing of doors and options that must be used and components that cannot be used to meet IECC requirements, along with Raynor’s certified U-factor and air infiltration test results for each approved door model.

The following doors meet the air infiltration requirements only
