“Shortly after receiving my Associates Degree in Mechanical Design I was fortunate to be hired at Raynor Garage Doors as an entry level Draftsmen in the Product Engineering Department. I was able to learn the products and grow from a Draftsmen to a Product Designer and overseen on all wind load testing of garage doors for hurricane prone areas of the country. In this role I designed and patented two unique trussing systems that strengthen garage doors to withstand high wind load forces in a hurricane. Raynor continued to allow me to grow professionally as I was promoted to Product Engineering Supervisor and then to my current role as Product Engineering Manager. Providing a career path is one of the reasons I have enjoyed working for Raynor.”
