JOB DESCRIPTION

The National Account Sales Manager (NASM) has the primary responsibility of finding and developing relationships with general contractors, retailers and overhead door related businesses that have multiple U.S. facilities or locations. The NASM provides guidance towards maximizing Raynor’s sales and profitability through our suite of products. This is a key hunter role for someone looking to be part of growing division within a family-owned company.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Find and develop business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the market with relationship to sales potential.
  • Perform accountmaintenance and planning with current Raynor National Accounts. This will include, but is not limitedto, product line review, scheduling, planning throughout the year as required.
  • Assist with the development and training of sales programs as needed.
  • Travel as needed throughout the country to develop and maintain relationships with National Account partners and potential partners.
  • Works closely with our inside sales team and supports them with any ancillary tasks they may need help with which may include quoting and partner communication when it comes to delivery of products.
  • Maintains quality service by responding to requests from customers and prospects alike within agreed upon timelines.
  • Promote all Raynor product lines and services.
  • Establish awareness of the competition through personal contact with prospective/existingaccounts, businessdirectories, trade shows, websites, advertising, professional organizations, architects, builders, and consumers.
  • Identify, create, and support specifications for current Raynor Products.

Customer Relations:

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customer base.
  • Provide ongoing support in the form of information and guidance including research and recommending new opportunities.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with customers as requested.
  • Negotiate consumer product complaints as required.
  • Assist other departments (i.e. Financial Services, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Call Center) with the customer relationship when theneed arises.

Meetings, Conferences and Conventions:

  • Meet with prospective customers, including those the company has designated as “targets”, within the communicated timeframe to engage with key decision-making personnel and develop sales opportunities.
  • Attend corporate shows as required.
  • AssistVice President of Salesand Director of National Accounts withcustomer meetings.

Communication, Planning and Administration:

  • Perform tasks and projects per the direction of Director of National Accounts as needed.
  • Communicates frequently with Director of National Accounts and Inside Sales Manger on new opportunities and existing customer opportunities.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending trade shows, educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, & establishing personal network.
  • Submit call reports on CRM.
  • Provide annual budget, forecast and goals for assigned accounts.
JOB RELATED AND ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications/skills:

  • Ability to bring new ideas and opportunities to the table in the form of new business.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Excellent organization, planning skills and oral and written communication.
  • Must be proficient and have had experience using Microsoft products including, CRM, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
  • Travel throughout the country as needed to visit end-users as well as assigned accounts and prospective new customers.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and product specifications.
  • Home office work environment with trips to Dixon, IL office as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Five to tenyears outside B2B sales experience, preferably in building and construction industry.
  • Prior experience in the overhead door industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Contacts within nationwide retailers and general contractors is a major plus.
